New AVI-SPL Symphony Adapter Marketplace broadens extensive catalog of certified devices and enriches single-pane view into the workplace technology user experience

AMSTERDAM – February 11, 2020 –  AVI-SPL, the leading digital workplace services provider for organizations globally, will introduce its Symphony Adapter Marketplace at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2020 today. The marketplace will enable additional audiovisual (AV) and unified communication (UC) devices within an organization’s collaboration technology estate to be proactively monitored and controlled through Symphony.

AVI-SPL’s Symphony Adapter Marketplace will expand accessibility to the catalog of Symphony certified devices, combining native integrations built by AVI-SPL’s research and development team with third party developers, including AVI-SPL’s partners. The marketplace provides integrations with AV, UC and video devices, as well as ticketing systems, scheduling systems and cloud service applications. It also includes a developer forum to promote idea exchanges and a “Hello Room” simulation tool to see device adapters in action. Among the list of technology leaders already integrating their products with AVI-SPL Symphony includes Shure, Crestron, Netgear, Biamp, Samsung, LG, SurgeX, NEC, Middle Atlantic, Poly, Cisco, Lenovo, Logitech and more.

“AVI-SPL has been a strategic research and development partner of ours since we started to create our SystemOn APIs, “ says Kevin Smith, director of sales – integrated systems at Shure. “The AVI-SPL Symphony API architecture has created a quick and easy way to bring monitoring and control to our networked System products.”

Brian Donlan, Crestron technology manager, product management cloud solutions added: “We are happy to work with AVI-SPL to expand their Symphony application to allow customers to monitor and control more technology solutions than ever before. By utilizing Crestron XiO Cloud and the connection to Crestron hardware, users are now able to seamlessly view all of their devices from Symphony’s single portal.”

“We are excited to see so many of our partners investing in Symphony, with the ultimate goal of providing end users the best collaboration experience available,” said Frank Mehr, senior vice president of technology enabled services at AVI-SPL. “Symphony provides a way to keep the technology healthy and use technical resources more efficiently, thus increasing end user adoption of these technologies.”
